WASHINGTON -- U.S. Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, is seeking intelligent, hard-working college students to serve as interns in his office in Washington, D.C., as well as in his offices in Austin, Dallas, Houston, Lubbock, and San Antonio.

Interns in Sen. Cornyn’s state offices will participate in constituent services and state outreach activities, while students in the Washington, D.C., office will have the opportunity to witness the legislative process, give Capitol tours, and attend Senate votes and hearings. Both state and Washington, D.C., interns will have the opportunity to work closely with constituents, hone their research and writing skills, and learn various, valuable office-support skills.

College students who are interested in interning in Sen. Cornyn’s office should submit application materials, available at www.cornyn.senate.gov, by Monday, March 14, to Sen. John Cornyn, Attn: Intern Coordinator, 517 Hart Senate Office Building, Washington, D.C. 20510 or by fax to 202-224-5220.

For more information, call 202-224-3013.
