Richard and Gail Murray of La Vernia, Texas, are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Lisa Michelle, to Michael Joseph Linley Capps, the son of Michael and Diane Capps of La Vernia.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mildred Murray of San Antonio and the late John Murray Jr., and Nick Gawlik of San Antonio and the late Sally Gawlik.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Ben and Albina Capps of Floresville, and the late George and Florence White, formerly of Beeville.

The couple both graduated from La Vernia High School in 2004. Lisa graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word Feik School of Pharmacy with her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in May 2010. She is currently employed as the pharmacy manager with Walgreens in Pleasanton.

Michael is a 2008 graduate of Texas A&M-Kingsville-System Center San Antonio with a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science degree. He is currently employed with the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.

The couple plan to wed in late April 2011 in San Antonio.
