Stockdale tennis team continues tournament play

The Stockdale tennis team participated in the Central Texas Tennis Association 3A and Under Tennis Tournament in San Marcos Feb. 24-26.

In junior varsity action, Shannon Freasier and Vanessa Bustamante participated in the first round of the consolation division in girls doubles, and Jessica Puente and Tyler Middleton advanced to the second round in mixed doubles. Dylan Dunn advanced to the semifinals in boys singles play, Anthony Bennett reached the consolation semifinals, and Jacob Cardenas participated in the first round of consolation.

During varsity play, Roxanne Bischak advanced to the first round of consolation in girls singles competition, and Gabriella Salazar and Kristen Salazar participated in the first round of consolation in girls doubles. Landon Coston advanced to the first round of consolation in boys singles, and Jordan Jackson reached the quarterfinals in singles play.
