ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED. Part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. Compensation is at a rate of $200 per week plus $100 per completed and submitted crisis assessment, and mileage. If interested call Camino Real Community Services, 210-357-0359.

Pleasant, Texas, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011, in Lufkin. He was born Oct. 8, 1991, to Stephen Lilly and Lisa Johnson. David, a student at the time of his death, was a member of the Mount Sylvia Baptist Church and the Special Olympics.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Roy Tex Lilly and Michael Kasun; and his aunt, Tonnie Lee Biesenbach.

David is survived by his parents, Stephen and Tonya Lilly; his mother, Lisa Johnson; his brother, Jacob Lilly; his sisters, Christina Sapp and husband Mark, and Maggie Lilly; and grandparents Martha Lilly, Junior and Cathy Pipkin, Helen Biesenbach, and Henry Biesenbach. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Katherine and Mark Smith, Milisa Kasun, Sherri and Bradly Osborn, and Henry and Tammy Biesenbach; his niece, Memery Sapp; and numerous cousins, Justin, Tyler, Kodie, James, Braylee, Sam, Robert, Aaron, Chris, Katie, and Matthew.

Visitation was held Tuesday, March 1, from 7-9 p.m. in the Bates-Cooper-Sloan Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant.

A funeral service was held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother LeeRoy Cooper officiating.

Interment followed in the Liberty Hill Cemetery in Mount Pleasant.

Serving as pallbearers were Dana Applewhite, Matthew Lewis, Dean Demby, Henry Biesenbach, Christopher Shaver, and Bradly Osborn.
