Community members in La Vernia can enjoy the newly finished tennis courts starting Monday, March 21, after school hours.

La Vernia High School tennis players and their parents, along with La Vernia Independent School District school board members, gathered March 10 at the courts for a dedication ceremony.

Superintendent Tom Harvey opened the event with brief remarks.

“Our students are blessed to have wonderful facilities,” Harvey said. “We sincerely appreciate the support from our community.”

The district will provide guidelines for community use of the courts, and specific hours will be posted at the facility.
