Nathaniel Christian Garcia of Floresville, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 9, 2011, in Floresville at the age of 5 months and 9 days. He was born on Sept. 30, 2010, in San Antonio.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Martha Garcia.

He is survived by his parents, Rachel Lynn Heinesh and Paul Garcia Jr.; his sister, Desiree Renee Heinesh; and his brother, Giovanni Paul Garcia, all of Floresville. He is also survived by his grandparents, Ismael Perez Jr. of Floresville, Di-Anna Bocanegra of Karnes City, and Eulalia and Paul Garcia Sr. of Floresville; his great-grandparents, Gloria and Ismael Perez Sr., and Pete and Orfie Barrera, all of Floresville, and Linda Hernandez of Karnes City; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A visitation was held on Sunday, March 13, at 6 p.m. in the Franklin Funeral Home Chapel in Floresville. A prayer service was held on Sunday at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Benny Herrera officiating.

A funeral service was held on Monday at 10 a.m. in El Mesias United Methodist Church in Floresville, with the Rev. Francisco Briones officiating.

Interment followed in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery in Saspamco.

Pallbearers were Joseph Delgado, Ismael Perez III, David Isaiah Perez, and Aaron Garcia.
