Offer condolences

Lois J. Felux, a longtime resident of Fairview, Texas, entered eternal rest Thursday, March 10, 2011, at 8:36 p.m. in the Connally Memorial Medical Center in Floresville at the age of 70 years, 4 months, and 8 days.

Lois was born Nov. 2, 1940, in Enid, Okla., the daughter of Ben and Oma Mae Schenck Collins. She attended schools in California and San Antonio. Lois worked for the Floresville Nursing Home and the Wilson Memorial Hospital. She was a loving mother, devoted wife, and homemaker. Lois married Leonard Paul Felux in January 1974 in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Floresville. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Floresville.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Lee Roy Davis; and her grandchildren, Keith and Kaitlyn Felux.

She is survived by her beloved husband of more than 37 years, Leonard Paul Felux of Floresville; and her children, Pete Williams and wife Reggie of Floresville, Danny Williams and wife Sherry of Dallas, Ga., Susie Robinette and husband Roy of Aransas Pass, Jerry Williams and wife Vicky of Fairview, Karen Williams of Rockport, and Paul Felux and wife Tracy of Rockport. She is also survived by her stepson, Larry Williams and wife Linda of Nixon; 23 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; siblings Frank Collins of British Columbia, Edna Smith of Minnesota, Dorothy Stiffler of Oregon, Tom Collins of Arizona, and Albert Davis of San Antonio; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held Sunday, March 13, at 5 p.m. in the Vinyard Funeral Home Chapel in Floresville, with a vigil held at 7 p.m.

A funeral Mass was celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Floresville, officiated by Father Phillip Henning.

Interment followed in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Floresville.

Serving as pallbearers were Russell Stavinoha, Zack Williams, Billy Janek Jr., Chris Friesenhahn, Adam Janek, Tommy Williams, Jarrett Williams, Blake Williams, Cash Williams, and Brandon Janek.

Serving as honorary pallbearers were Bobby Carr, James Carr, Charlie Felux, and Bobby Tymrack.
