Roger David Rice, 61, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Friday, March 11, 2011. Roger was born Aug. 6, 1949, in San Antonio to Howard and Ann Rice.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Gayle Roberts Rice; his mother; his sons, Mitchell Rice, Kevin Roberts, and Casey Roberts; his daughter, Amy Rice Roland; his brothers, Howard Dewayne Rice and wife Sharon and Elton Keith Rice and wife Stephanie; his sister, Jackie Katz; his grandchildren, Bronc Rice, Colton Roland, and Austin Roland; his father-in-law, Bobby Roberts and wife Jerry; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and other treasured family members and faithful friends.

A funeral service was held on Monday, March 14, at 10 a.m. in the Pace-Stancil Chapel in Cleveland with Bro. Monty Odom officiating.

A graveside service was held Monday at 4 p.m. in the Steele Branch Cemetery in Stockdale with Bro. Michael Cauley presiding.
