Helen Ann (Pieniazek) Lyssy, 91, of Adkins, Texas, passed away on Friday, March 18, 2011. She was born June 24, 1919, in Adkins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George I. Lyssy.

Helen is survived by her son, Clinton J. Lyssy Sr.; her daughter, Mary Lou Jannise and husband R.C.; her grandsons, Clinton Lyssy Jr. and Clifford Lyssy; her granddaughter, Georgianna L. Jannise; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation took place Sunday, March 20, from 6-8 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia.

A Mass was celebrated on Monday at 10 a.m. in the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in St. Hedwig with Father John Flanagan officiating.

Entombment followed in the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Mausoleum in St. Hedwig.

Donations may be made by way of Mass cards.
