Ken and Joyce Kenneally of Adkins, Texas, are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Nicole Marie, to Jeremiah Daniel Gutz, the son of Sharon and Billy Brown of La Vernia and John Gutz of Tilden.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Katherine Dylla of Adkins and the late Ben Dylla, and Ivy Kenneally of San Antonio and the late Kenneth Kenneally Sr.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Martha Pollok of San Antonio and the late Ernest Pollok, and the late Alvin and Clara Gutz, formerly of St. Hedwig.

Nicole, a 2005 graduate of La Vernia High School, graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in nursing in December 2009. She is currently employed as a registered nurse at St. David’s Medical Center in Austin.

Jeremiah, a 2004 graduate of La Vernia High School, graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos with a Bachelor of Arts in business management in May 2009. He is the assistant plant manager of the Commercial Metals Co. in Austin.

Nicole and Jeremiah will be united in matrimony on Saturday, May 14, 2011, in the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in St. Hedwig, with a reception to follow in the La Vernia Chamber of Commerce.

Following their honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Buda.
