Wilson County News
Rosa Bednarz Reinhard of Poth, who passed away April 6, made front-page news in 2007, when she celebrated her 105th birthday.
Rosa celebrated 108 years last June with family and friends, in the nursing home where she resided. The Wilson County News and a San Antonio TV crew recorded the event, during which Rosa engaged in witty exchanges with her guests. She enjoyed a quiet moment with a great-granddaughter, 8-year-old Autumn, who was a century younger than her great-grandmother.
Rosa was among the centenarians recognized in February 2010, as Wilson County marked its 150th birthday.
