FLORESVILLE -- The city of Floresville and Girl Scouts have come together in a healthy living initiative.

“Step it Up,” a program designed to keep young girls active while instructing them on healthy living, will be held on Tuesday, April 26.

The program will take place in the Floresville Community Convention Center, located at 600 S.H. 97 West, from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

The program allows the girls to earn a patch through collaborations with Valero, CPS Energy, and H-E-B grocery.

The Girl Scouts invite all girls ages 5-17 to participate. Adults are also welcome to attend.

For more information, contact Ashton McDowell at 210-349-2404 or amcdowell@girlscouts-swtx.org.
