‘Old-fashioned Tent Revival’ set in Sutherland Springs
The First Baptist Church of Sutherland Springs will hold an “Old-fashioned Tent Revival” Sunday through Friday, April 24-29, at 216 Fourth St. in Sutherland Springs.
On Sunday, April 24, there will be a sunrise Easter service at 7 a.m., followed by breakfast at 8 a.m., Sunday school at 9:45 a.m., and then morning worship at 11 a.m. with Revival Pastor Ryan Dalgliesh.
There will also be a barbecue lunch held on the grounds at 12:30 p.m., at $6 a plate, Bluegrass worship by “The Baileys” at 1 p.m., and a new youth building dedication at 2 p.m., dedicated to the memory of Drew Porter. A bilingual sermon will be at 3:30 p.m., followed by “Chalk Art” by Debbie Braden at 4:30 p.m., and the day will conclude with an evening service at 6 p.m.
Tuesday through Friday, there will be nightly services at 7 p.m.
Wednesday, there will be an ice cream social sponsored by the Youth Group following the nightly service.
Thursday, there will be a Community Fellowship Dinner at 6 p.m. Donations are accepted.
