Cyd Birns, last year’s Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society Training Challenge winner, will hold an introductory rescue horse seminar on Saturday, April 23, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 150 Coble Road in Poteet.

Birns will instruct participants on how to understand their horses. Participants are encouraged to take a lawn chair, hat, or sunshade, as the arena is not covered. Dogs and young children are not permitted, as some of the horses may be unpredictable.

Cost to participate is $45 per person, $35 for military, and $10 for children ages 12 and under. Proceeds will benefit the Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society.

For more information or to RSVP, contact Barbara Lucas at 210-260-4135 or bclucasmk@gotsky.com.
