Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stricker of San Antonio, Texas, are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Lauren Elizabeth, to Brian Patrick Ledwik, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ledwik of Stockdale.

Lauren is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stricker of Schertz and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Boyle, formerly of San Antonio.

Brian is the grandson of Annie Ledwik of Yorktown and the late Everest Ledwik, and Sally Skloss of Stockdale and the late Tommy Skloss.

The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of James Madison High School in San Antonio, and a 2008 graduate of Texas State University in San Marcos. She is currently a fourth-grade teacher at Camelot Elementary School.

The prospective groom is a 2003 graduate of Poth High School in Poth and a 2007 graduate of Texas A&M University-Kingsville. He is currently a technical assistant with CMC Steel Texas.

The couple will wed Saturday, May 7, in the St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Kosciusko.
