Amber Leigh Hollis and Jesse Ray Green, both of Hobson, Texas, are happy to announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Amber is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Hollis of High Rolls, N.M. She is the granddaughter of Faye Bellows of High Rolls and the late Gorman Bellows, and Richard and Julia Hollis of Clarendon, Texas.

Amber is a 2009 graduate of Pettus High School. She currently attends Coastal Bend College and is employed at Bee Family Fun Center in Beeville.

Jesse is the son of Cathy Green of Hobson and Steven and Karissa Green of Runge. He is the grandson of Louis F. Hons of Hobson and the late Dorothy Hons, and Walter Green Jr. of Kenedy and the late Louise Green. His step-grandparents are Gus and Mary Schrade of Runge.

Jesse is a 2006 graduate of Falls City High School. He is currently employed at Red Ewald Inc. in Kenedy.

The couple plan a May 14 wedding at the First Baptist Church in Karnes City.
