Students from Poth Elementary School attended the UIL Literary Meet in Karnes City on Dec. 10, 2010.

The contestants and alternates spent weeks studying and preparing for the events. All of this preparation paid off, as Poth Elementary students performed well and came away with numerous awards.

An awards ceremony and party were held in the Poth cafeteria on March 10 to honor the participants.
