Donald Trump said that the president's reaction to this birth certificate issue has been "strange indeed."

Newsmax ( had a poll question on their website today that read “Do you want Donald Trump for your president?”

I would have to say, no to that question.

I am not ready to commit to a Trump presidency, but I am, excited about the questions that he has been asking. In fact, he has forced the press, for the first time, to quit ignoring some of these questions.

A Newsmax piece by Jim Meyers and Ashley Martella said in their story about the White House’s release of President Obama’s birth certificate, that Trump described President Obama as a “very strange president.”

Trump came out today and took credit for finally forcing the president to release his birth certificate. The certificate itself, is, of course, being scrutinized and there are those who already have proclaimed it to be “doctored.”

(Read more on Trump: 'It’s a Very Strange President We Have')

Yes, strange, indeed. If this is his authentic birth certificate, why would he not have released it a couple of years ago when people first began asking? It belies logic. And his excuse that he has more important things to do also defies logic.

His more important stuff includes playing golf, making predictions on the NBA playoffs, and today, flying off to Chicago today to appear on the “Oprah” TV show.
So, forget his excuses.

Now, that he's released his birth certificate, let us see his medical records and college transcripts, and we’ll start over at square one. These are all records that the public should have had in the beginning.

Alvin: Great comment. The courts had already ruled on the birth issue, so the GOP wasted time in pushing this issue. What about GOP president front running? Longer they wait the more I think they will lose big time.

I bet the general public (not the crazy far right) would find Sarah Palin's college transcripts more revealing then Obama's. If they meet in the primaries I sure hope Donald asks her for them. The GOP ridiculousness continues-comical ... More ›
