James and Henrietta Zezula Lowak celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on April 22, 2011.

They were married April 22, 1961, in the St. Matthews Catholic Church in Jourdanton, Texas.

A Mass was celebrated in their honor Easter Sunday in the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in St. Hedwig.

They celebrated with their four children, Allen Lowak, Loretta Clarke and husband Jeff, Charles Lowak and wife Sandy, and William Lowak and wife Chris, along with their eight grandchildren.

In May, they will complete their celebration with an Alaskan cruise.
