The deadline for the essay contest for scholarships offered by the Father Leopold Moczygemba Foundation has been extended to Monday, May 9.

Four scholarships of $500 each are being offered through an essay contest for students of any faith or ethnicity in grades 11-12. The essay topic is “Portrayal of a Silesian-Polish Texan.”

Entries should be submitted by e-mail to committee@silesiantexans.com or to the Father Leopold Moczygemba Foundation Essay Contest, P.O. Box 9, Panna Maria, TX 78144.
