CASA VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR, FULL-TIME POSITION. Provides professional staff support to CASA volunteers to ensure that abused children’s best interests are represented in court. Social services experience required.  Responsible for assisting with recruiting and initial training of advocates, and coordinating cases in Wilson County and Karnes County with Atascosa County (home office). Must demonstrate written and presentation communication skills. Must be available to work intermittent evenings/weekends with some travel.  Must have personal car, current TDL, and auto liability insurance. Ruth V. Wiley, 90, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2011, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born Aug. 7, 1920, in Clegg.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Vera Elizabeth Holland Dollar; her son, Wade Wiley; two brothers; and three sisters.

Ruth is survived by her daughter, Burnell Windahl and husband Lowell of Spring Branch; her sons, Arnold “Buddy” Wiley and wife Arlene of Georgia, Donald W. Wiley and wife Trudy of Buda, Richard Wiley and wife Shirley of San Antonio, and Phillip B. Wiley and wife Dawn of San Antonio; her daughter-in-law, Cecilia Wiley of San Antonio; 16 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

A visitation was held on Wednesday, April 27, from 5-8 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in Stockdale.

A funeral service was held on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Hugh Hale officiating.

Interment followed in the Stockdale Cemetery in Stockdale.
