Ruth V. Wiley, 90, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2011, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born Aug. 7, 1920, in Clegg.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Vera Elizabeth Holland Dollar; her son, Wade Wiley; two brothers; and three sisters.

Ruth is survived by her daughter, Burnell Windahl and husband Lowell of Spring Branch; her sons, Arnold “Buddy” Wiley and wife Arlene of Georgia, Donald W. Wiley and wife Trudy of Buda, Richard Wiley and wife Shirley of San Antonio, and Phillip B. Wiley and wife Dawn of San Antonio; her daughter-in-law, Cecilia Wiley of San Antonio; 16 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

A visitation was held on Wednesday, April 27, from 5-8 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in Stockdale.

A funeral service was held on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Hugh Hale officiating.

Interment followed in the Stockdale Cemetery in Stockdale.
