Charlene Rachel Fallon Lamb, 92, of Alvin, Texas, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2011, in Triumph Hospital Clear Lake in Webster. She was born on June 15, 1918, in Goldthwaite and was a resident of Alvin for 30 years.

Charlene was a member of the First United Methodist Church and was a member of the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Mark Lamb; her parents, Johnny and Julia Bohannon Fallon; and her brothers, Berlie, James, and Robert Fallon.

Charlene is survived by her daughters, Beverley Hensler and husband J.B. and Mary Wagener and husband Charles, all of Alvin, and Susan Thatcher and Clint Thatcher of Spokane, Wash.; and her brother, Kenneth Fallon of Idaho Falls, Idaho. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, Brad, Bart, Blake, and Blythe Hensler, Beth Wagener Blanchard, Leanne and Carol Wagener, and Chad, Scott, and Brian Thatcher; seven great-grandchildren, Baylea Wagener, Brenna Blanchard, Roy Chavez, Hannah, Haylen, and Christopher Hensler, and Sage Thatcher; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

A visitation was held on Wednesday, April 27, from 4-6 p.m. in the Scott Family Funeral Home in Alvin.

A funeral service was held Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the funeral home.

A graveside service was held on Friday at 10 a.m. in the Greenleaf Cemetery in Brownwood.
