FLORESVILLE -- It is time once again for the Wilson County Show Barn to host its annual Tri-County Antique Tractor Pull & IBCA BBQ Cook-off. This year’s event will be held Friday and Saturday, June 3-4.

This year’s activities include the tractor pulls, a kiddie carnival, barbecue cook-off, concert, and dances. There also will be various arts and crafts for sale, and concession stands will be available.

Friday night’s entertainment will feature Mario Flores from 8 p.m. to midnight. All proceeds from the event help support the youth of Wilson County through the show barn.

Admission to the grounds, concert, and dance on Friday night is $10 per person, or $5 for the grounds only. Gate admission on Saturday is just $5. There will also be a free dance Saturday evening following the tractor pull.

The cook-off is open to all who would like to enter and compete in barbecuing brisket, pork ribs, chicken, and beans. There will also be a Friday Night Jackpot for BBQ skewers and cobblers made in a Dutch oven. IBCA rules will be in effect, and all meat will be inspected prior to cooking.

The Wilson County Show Barn is located 1.5 miles east of Floresville on S.H. 97.

For more information, call 210-260-2983.
