AUSTIN -- After finishing second in the regional golf meet last month in San Marcos, Nixon-Smiley junior Nathan Morris earned himself a chance to play for the state title. Then, after shooting a two-day total of 158 at the state meet in Austin May 9-10, Morris earned the respect of his peers with a sixth-place finish overall. . . .
