Field Appraiser. The Wilson Central Appraisal District is currently accepting applications for the position of Field Appraiser. Responsibilities include office and field work associated with the appraisal of residential property. Jacquie Mzyk Cruz, 49, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2011, in San Antonio. She was born June 26, 1961, in San Antonio.

Jacquie graduated from Falls City High School in 1979. She was raised in the Cestohowa community, where she was active in the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church as an organist, and was an organist for the area’s Polish Choir. Jacquie was a home-health provider working in San Antonio.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edward E. Mzyk.

Jacquie is survived by her mother, Helen A. Mzyk of Gillett; her son, Jack Gibson of San Antonio; her sister, Marie Gardner and husband Randy of Austin; and her fiancé, Rosendo Alfonso of San Antonio.

A rosary was recited on Wednesday, May 11, at 7 p.m. in the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Cestohowa.

A funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday at 1 p.m. in the church.

Interment followed in the Cestohowa Cemetery in Cestohowa.

Serving as pallbearers were Mark Mutz, Alan Mutz, Michael Mutz, Jerome Mutz, Randy Gardner Sr., and Randy Gardner Jr.
