Edward F. Meracle, 51, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2011, in the Floresville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Floresville, Texas. He was born Nov. 1, 1951.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Emma Meracle; his brother, Walter J. Meracle; and his grandmother, Mary Albrecht.

Edward is survived by his brother, Raymond Meracle of San Antonio; his sisters, Ann Kosub and husband Houston of Karnes County and Patricia Meracle; his nephews, Clinton Kosub and wife Andrea of Adkins and James Kosub and wife Rhonda of Karnes County; and other family.

His final resting place will be in the M.B. Morales Cemetery in Bexar County.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Arrangements are with the Franklin Funeral Home in Floresville. Cemetery care is with Leo Silva and wife Margaret.
