AUSTIN -- Oklahoma City Thunder star forward Kevin Durant will host his inaugural youth basketball camp at Austin Westlake High School July 1-2.

Durant will be on site the entire time to direct camp activities and provide instruction. The camp features several area prep and collegiate coaches and is open to boys and girls ages 7 to 18. The camp will be broken into two sessions, with children ages 7-11 meeting from 8:30 a.m. until 12 noon, and the second session, for ages 12-18, meeting from 1-4:30 p.m.

Campers will experience various stations, specializing in fundamental skills and the team concept of basketball. Individual groups will be small to assure each camper gets maximum personalized instruction.

Campers will receive an autographed camp team photo with Kevin, a Nike camp T-shirt, camp goodie bag, and the opportunity to win additional contests and prizes. The cost of the camp is $199, and a $20 discount is available by entering the code “WESTLAKE” in the Coupon Code section of the website.
