Master Gardeners invite scholarship applications

It’s scholarship award time again for the Bexar County Master Gardeners. The deadline for this year’s application is Thursday, June 30. Each year, two scholarships are awarded to horticulture students for $2,000 each. The scholarships are awarded to the students in their sophomore year of college or later.

Applicants must meet the following qualifications: be a Texas resident, be a sophomore or higher, 24 hours; studying full time for the 2011-12 academic year at a Texas institution, a minimum of 12 hours for undergraduates and nine hours for graduate students; major in horticulture science, landscape design, or turf grass management.
