A number of local students are among 549 graduating from Texas A&M University-Kingsville in commencement ceremonies held May 13 in the Steinke Physical Education Center.

Graduates included Amanda Marie Waclawczyk of Falls City, with a bachelor of science summa cum laude; Joseph Ray Brysch of Falls City, with a bachelor of science in electrical engineering; Emily Grace Sczepanik of Hobson, with a bachelor’s of science summa cum laude; Joshua David Pearson of La Vernia, with a bachelor of science in agriculture; Leah Michelle Ayala of La Vernia, with a bachelor of science in architectural engineering cum laude; and Stephanie Michelle Campbell of Stockdale, with a bachelor of science in agriculture.
