1967-2011

Timothy Dwayne Wollney Sr., 44, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2011. He was born in San Antonio, Texas, on April 17, 1967, to Adrian Burke Wollney Sr. and Dawn Marie Philley.

He was a former resident of Adkins, Kerrville, and San Antonio, and had lived in Elmendorf for the past three years. He was of the Catholic faith and an entered apprentice in the Masonic Lodge. Timothy was a welder fabricator.

He was preceded in death by his father; and his brother, John Wollney.

Timothy is survived by his wife, Desirae T. Wollney of Elmendorf; his mother, Dawn Wollney of Kerrville; his daughter, Desirae Dawn Wollney; his son, Timothy Wollney Jr. of Elmendorf; his grandmother, Laura Wollney of San Antonio; his father-in-law, Joe Tracy; his godparents, Mary Ann Amaro and John Wollney Jr., both of San Antonio; his sister, Dawn Adrianne Wollney of Kahoka, Mo.; his brothers, Adrian Burke Wollney Jr. and Gene Beasley, both of Kerrville; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A visitation was held on Wednesday, May 18, from 5-9 p.m. in the Franklin Funeral Home Chapel in Floresville.

A funeral service was held on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Raymond Lopez and the Rev. Joseph Segenbush officiating.

Interment followed in St. Jerome’s Cemetery in San Antonio.
