Due to the general lack of rainfall in Karnes and Wilson counties, Dr. Megan Dominguez, Extension range specialist, and Dr. Joe Paschal, Extension beef cattle specialist, will be the guest speakers at a meeting Tuesday, June 7, at 7 p.m. in the Falls City Community Hall in Falls City. The event is free.

The speakers will address drought management strategies available to area producers. Additionally, Grady Kelley of the U.S. Department of Agriculture Farm Service Agency will also be available to discuss federal programs available to producers during drought.

Continuing Education Units will be offered in each of the following: general, Integrated Pest Management, and laws and regulations.
