San Antonio paleontologist and animal behaviorist “Dinosaur George” will bring the world of dinosaurs to the students of the Wilson County Boys & Girls Club on Tuesday, June 7, at 2 p.m. in the Floresville Community Convention Center, located at 600 S.H. 97 W. in Floresville.

“Dinosaur George” Blasing is self-taught, with more than 35 years of study and research. He is a public speaker, writer, and television host who has performed live to more than 1 million students and has spoken in more than 2500 schools, museums, and libraries.

“I am really excited to be speaking at the Boys and Girls Club,” Blasing said. “Floresville has a remarkable prehistoric history and I’m looking forward to introducing some of its earlier residents to the kids.” Relying on a variety of specimens, from saber-toothed cat skulls to spikes and horns of plant-eating dinosaurs to the teeth of the terrifying Tyrannosaurus rex, Dinosaur George will take the students back in time to experience the wonders of our prehistoric world.
