Bianca Nieves Cervantez of Floresville is among 56 graduates of the Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Nursing. Cervantez received her Bachelor of Science in nursing during a commencement ceremony May 20 in College Station.

The commencement speaker was Joyce Batcheller, D.N.P., RN, NEA-BC, FAAN, senior vice president and chief nursing officer of the Seton Family of Hospitals in Austin. Nancy W. Dickey, M.D., president of the Texas A&M Health Science Center and vice chancellor for health affairs for the Texas A&M University System, provided the welcome and introductions.

Commencement ceremonies were in the Frymire Auditorium of the Leonore and Walter Annenberg Presidential Conference Center in the George Bush Library Complex at Texas A&M.
