Jillian Balser is the Falls City High School class of 2011 valedictorian. She is the daughter of Chuck and Kathy Balser.

Jillian has been involved in band, National Honor Society, Gifted and Talented, Spanish Club, UIL literary events, cross country, basketball, and track throughout high school. She served as captain in the colorguard. She was a regional qualifier in cross country and track. In basketball, she was named 2nd team all district, honorable mention all district, academic all-district, and academic all state.

She was treasurer and vice president of her local 4-H club and served on the district council. She has also been very involved in her church and community.

Jillian plans to attend the University of Texas at Austin and study in the natural sciences.
