GRADUATION: EC’s top student Tyler Pruski
Tyler Pruski is East Central’s top-ranking student for the class of 2011. He is ranked No. 1 out of 600 and has a GPA of 104.9. He is the son of Steven and Rill Pruski.
While keeping his grades up, Tyler participated in several sports in high school, finishing on the varsity baseball team. He also participated in the National Honor Society, as well as the Beta Club.
He plans to attend Texas A&M University in College Station, where he will pursue a degree in petroleum engineering. He will be following a family tradition by attending A&M, since both parents and his brother attended the university.
Tyler has received several scholarships which include the Valedictorian Scholarship, Valero Alamo Bowl Scholarship, Aggie Park Scholarship, and ECABC Scholarship.
In his spare time, Tyler enjoys wakeboarding, fishing, hunting, and kiteboarding. While balancing all of his extracurricular activities and hobbies, he is still an extremely involved member in two different churches. He has volunteered for St. Jerome’s Catholic Church, and is an active member in the MacArthur Park youth group.
