Golf tourney in Bandera will benefit VA hospital

The Kerrville Division of the South Texas Veterans Health Care System will celebrate Independence Day with the Kerrville VA Hospital Golf Tournament, Saturday, July 9, at the Flying L Ranch Golf Course. The course is located at 566 Flying L. Drive in Bandera. Registration will begin at 11 a.m., with a shotgun start at noon.

The entry fee is $70 per golfer, which includes greens fees, cart, range balls, goodie bag, and dinner. The format will be a 4-person scramble, and the entry deadline is Wednesday, July 6.

All proceeds will support programs such as hospice and nursing home needs, therapeutic recreation activities, and comfort items for veterans at the Kerrville VA Hospital. Hole sponsors, donations, and volunteers are always welcome.
