Boys & Girls Club offers summer camps
FLORESVILLE -- The Boys & Girls Club of Wilson County is offering several mini-camps this summer for youth at Floresville River Park on S.H. 97 East.
There will be a boys basketball camp June 13-17 for kids ages 7-15. Participants should plan to take their own ball. A girls softball camp will take place June 20-24, and a volleyball camp will run from June 27 through July 1. Kids should take their own equipment, including gloves, bats, balls, and kneepads. All camps will be held from 9 a.m. until noon.
The fee is $50 per camp per child, and parents can register their children anytime at Jack’s Café in Floresville.
In addition, there will also be a Summer Day Camp offered June 6 through July 1, and Aug. 1-12 for kids ages 5-13. Both camps will run from 1-6 p.m. at the Floresville Event Center, located adjacent to the River Park.
The fee is $15 per child per day for the first family member, $10 for the second, and $8 for each additional child. Drop-ins are $25 per day, and a $5 discount will be given to the first child if enrolled in other Boys & Girls Club of Wilson County summer programs.
