As part of the 2011 summer reading program, the Wilson County Public Library is offering a side contest through the Marvel comic website www.marvel.com. Participants are to design and create their vision of a superhero through this fun and interactive website. Once you arrive at the Marvel website, proceed to the bottom of the home landing page and choose the link to Create Your Own SuperHero.

Participants may enter as many characters as they would like, so be creative and have fun with the Marvel website. All entries must be submitted to the library no later than Saturday, July 16. Entries will be displayed within the library as they are submitted.

Don’t have a computer at home? Come to the Wilson County Public Library and check out one of our Internet computers. Take a library card that is in good standing and, if under the age of 11, children will need parental permission to use the Internet computers.

Be creative as you “Dig Up a Good Book” to read this summer!

For more information, please contact the library at 830-393-7361 or librarian@wilsoncounty.lib.tx.us.
