“Singing zoologist” Lucas Miller will perform Friday, June 24, at 2 p.m. in the Floresville Event Center on S.H. 97, as part of the Boys & Girls Clubs’ summer program. This event is free and open to the public.

The event was originally set for June 14.

Miller is an author, songwriter, and singing zoologist who shares his love for wildlife with students. Since 1992, he has presented programs for more than 1 million kids. His award-winning songs include “The Anaconda La Bamba,” “Living in Symbiosis,” and “Metamorphosis.”

He has won several Parents’ Choice awards. Miller has also been commissioned twice by the Texas State Library to write theme songs for its summer reading programs.
