Stephanie Lee Mabe graduated magna cum laude on May 14 from Southern Nazarene University (SNU) in Bethany, Okla., with a Bachelor of Science in psychology with a sociology minor.

Stephanie is the daughter of Walter and Sherrol Mabe and a member of the 2007 graduating class of Floresville High School. Stephanie was involved with various on-campus activities throughout her years at SNU, including Psi Chi (psychology honor society), Mortar Board (national honor society of college seniors), Alpha Lambda Delta (honor society for students in the top 20 percent of their freshman class), Ronald E. McNair Postbaccalaureate Achievement Program, and the SNU Honors Program.

While attending SNU, Stephanie worked as a statistics tutor, research assistant, and teaching assistant for multiple classes.

Stephanie plans to begin graduate school in the fall of 2012 to get her Ph.D. in clinical child psychology.
