Michelle Lee Reiman Pawelek, 43, affectionately known to her family and friends as “Missy,” passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2011, in Falls City, Texas. She was born to Joe and Shirley Reiman on May 16, 1968, in Kenedy.

They had resided in Falls City since they married and were blessed with two beautiful daughters.

Michelle’s extended family became the directors and employees of the Falls City National Bank in August 1992, where Michelle worked as a teller and provided customer service through the bookkeeping department. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, a member of the Holy Trinity Altar Society, a past treasurer of the Falls City Youth League, a baseball and basketball coach for the Falls City Youth League, and a member of the Falls City Band Boosters. She was very active in the church and community and was an extremely giving person.

She is survived by her husband, Jeff Pawelek of Falls City; her daughters, Taryn Pawelek and Amber Pawelek, both of Falls City; her parents, Joe and Shirley Reiman of Runge; and her brothers, Joey Reiman and wife Dominique of New Braunfels and Chris Reiman of Runge. The family would like to thank family and friends for being with them through all the joy, the happiness, and the sadness and tears.

A visitation was held on Friday, June 10, at 5 p.m. in the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Falls City with a rosary at 7 p.m.

A Mass was celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m. in the church with Father Dennis Jarzombek officiating.
