Emily Flieller of Wilson County is one of the 70 Texas 4-H members awarded a four-year, $16,000 scholarship from the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo during the Texas 4-H Roundup June 13 in College Station.

These scholarships are just part of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo’s more than $16 million annual commitment to scholarships, research, endowments, calf scramble participants, and junior show exhibitors.

The 2012 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo will run Feb. 28 through March 18. For more information, visit www.rodeohouston.com .
