Michael and Sherry Trainor of China Grove, Texas, are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jacquelyn Elizabeth, to Sheldon Ross Leonard, the son of Suzanne Cronk of La Vernia and Randy and Terrie Leonard of La Vernia.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Paul and RoseMary Albert and King and Liz Trainor, all of San Antonio.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Alma Moore of San Antonio and the late Walter Moore, and the late Edward and Alice Cain, formerly of San Antonio.

Jacquelyn, a 2007 graduate of East Central High School, graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos with a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing in May 2010. She is currently employed as a medical sales representative for Medtronic Diabetes in San Antonio.

Sheldon, a 2006 graduate of La Vernia High School, graduated from the San Antonio College Regional Fire Academy in 2007. He is currently employed as a firefighter/EMT for the city of Live Oak.

Jacquelyn and Sheldon will be united in matrimony on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011, in the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in St. Hedwig, with a reception to follow in the St. Jerome O’Brien Hall.

Following their honeymoon in Australia, the couple will reside in La Vernia.
