Offer condolences

Elo F. Rabenaldt, 87, of Floresville, Texas, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, June 14, 2011.

He was a charter member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus Council 4140, the Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree Assembly 2101, St. Gregory’s Holy Name Society, Hermann Sons-Harmonia Lodge No. 1, and the American Legion Post No. 1.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fritz and Eleanora Rabenaldt; and his brother, Melvin Rabenaldt.

Elo is survived by his spouse of 66 years, Louise A. Rabenaldt; two sons, Harold Rabenaldt and wife Angelika and Roy Rabenaldt and wife Lisa; grandchildren Denise Hammes, Logan Hicks, Dominik Rabenaldt, and Brent Rabenaldt; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Roland Rabenaldt, Leroy Rabenaldt, and James Rabenaldt; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held Thursday, June 16, at 5:30 p.m. in the St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church in San Antonio. A rosary was recited at 7 p.m.

A funeral Mass was held Friday at 10 a.m. in the church.

Entombment followed in the Holy Cross Mausoleum in San Antonio.

Memorial donations may be made to the Presentation Convent, 8931 Callaghan Road, San Antonio, TX 78230 or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
