Carla Kathleen House and Matthew Alan Jacobs will be united in marriage on Friday, July 15, 2011, at the Spring Hill Event Center in San Antonio, Texas. Sharing in the celebration will be Matt’s children, Jessica, Stephanie, and John Jacobs. Wilson County Judge Marvin Quinney will be presiding.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jackie F. House of Floresville.

The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Jacobs of Montgomery.

Carla received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and a master’s degree in school administration from Lamar University. She currently teaches health science technology at Robert E. Lee High School in San Antonio.

Matt is executive director of programs for Goldman Sachs in San Antonio.

The couple will honeymoon in the U.S. Virgin Islands and make their home in San Antonio.
