Joe Louis “Pipe” Trigo, 56, of Nixon, Texas, died Wednesday, June 22, 2011, in Gonzales. He was born in Nixon on March 22, 1955.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Saragoza Trigo, Sr. and Rosa Sandoval Trigo; and two sisters: Rosa Rodriguez and Janie Miller.

He is survived by his eight sisters, Mona Ruiz of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Lucinda Orosco and husband Reuben of San Antonio, Mary Almaguer and husband Mike of Gonzales, Lucia Rincon and husband Joe of Converse, Anita Rodriguez and husband Joe of Nixon, Rita Moxley and husband Bobby of Startzville, Roseann Medina and husband Joe of Nixon, and Lydia Trigo of Nixon; his four brothers, George Trigo, of Cotulla, Reuben Trigo and wife Irene of Sinton, Edward Trigo Sr. and wife Naomi of Austin, and Saragoza Trigo Jr. of Seguin; numerous nieces and nephews; and other loving family and many friends.

A visitation was held Friday, June 24, from 4-8 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon with a rosary recited at 6 p.m. by Deacon John Moreno.

A funeral Mass was held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Nixon with Father Alfonso Gioppato officiating.

Interment followed in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Nixon.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
