Cemetery association meeting set

The Floresville Cemeteries Association will meet on Thursday, July 7, at 11:30 a.m. in Jack’s Café on U.S. 181 in Floresville.

The goal of the association is to oversee the cemeteries within the Floresville city limits and make recommendations to the city manager regarding practical improvements. Immediate aims include getting decent water to the west side of the Floresville City Cemetery next to U.S. 181 Business; replacing existing faucets as needed and raising faucet heights as needed; proper maintenance of the fence; and pest control.
