‘Kicker Thing’ benefits youth

The San Antonio Livestock Exposition (SALE) Trail Ride Committee will host “It’s a Kicker Thing” on Saturday, July 16, at the Floresville Event Center, located at 600 W. S.H. 97 of Floresville.

Doors open at 6 p.m., with dinner from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Other events include a live and silent auction, and entertainment by the “Clint Martin Band.”

Prices are $75 per couple, reserved tables for eight, $300. For tickets, call Melanie Walpole at 210-827-2151 or any committee member.

No one under 21 years of age will be admitted.

All proceeds will benefit the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Junior Livestock Auction. In 2011, the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo and the SALE Trail Ride Committee purchased or bought-in on 65 separate 4-H or FFA animal projects. Of those, 16 lots were from Wilson County.
