The Wilson County 4-H Family and Consumer Sciences planning meeting is set for Monday, Aug. 1, at 7 p.m. in the Wilson County office of the Texas AgriLife Extension Service. The office is located in the basement of the Wilson County Courthouse on Third Street in Floresville.

At the meeting, attendees will decide on dates and locations for the food show, food challenge, and the fashion show. Discussion will include the locations and dates for nutrition and clothing workshops and trainings.

Everyone is welcome to attend.




A fashion storyboard workshop will be held Thursday, Aug. 4, from 3-5 p.m. in the Wilson County office of the Texas AgriLife Extension Service in Floresville.

Deadline to RSVP is Thursday, July 28, by calling 830-393-7357.

This workshop is limited to the first 10 4-H members that call in to RSVP. If you were not able to make it to the training last summer, now is the perfect time to see what the new fashion storyboard contest is all about.

Food, nutrition workshop

A food and nutrition workshop will be held Thursday, Aug. 11, from 3-5 p.m. in the Wilson County AgriLife Extension Service office.

Participants are asked to RSVP by Thursday, Aug. 4, by calling 830-393-7357.

This workshop is limited to the first 15 4-H members that call in to RSVP.

We will be preparing and serving a meal and learning about its nutrition information.
